Now that the NAB cup is well and truly under way, like me, you probably spend half your weekend chopping and changing your Super Coach Dream Team to include the best of the best from each of the completed games. Only one problem, by the time round one comes your team has had more work done than Victoria Beckham.

| BOMBERBOY<br><br>I'm not expereinced with teams and all that. I can help you though in saying that Valenti won't get a game because he's a rookie and there needs to be a season ending injury for him to be able to play. That's what I've heard anyway. |

| Darren i like your team but i don't love it. It is very very close to getting my love though. Love your budget but talented midfield, i also have Mcnamara but see you have been reading your footy newspaper and have high posessions per minute mids in Chook McLean, Cross and Reilly. Don't love Armitage as a starter however. change that. Love the power forward line but would like to see one more star in that backline instead of the inconsistent McPhee. <br>My suggestion. Trade Porplyzia for L.Harding(Kangas) who is starring on the half back line and use the extra money to upgrade Armitage. |

| Bomberboy very very interesting team. Much different than anyother side i have seen so far. If i was putting a team out on the paddock to win a real game next week i would love our team. But for Supercoach i'm not so sure. I just don't think u have enough of the what we call "cash cows" like Nicoski, Troy Simmonds, Coughlan, Jay Nash. Most successful teams go for stars mixed in with cheap players. You have gone for all middle tear ranked players.<br>Could work but i just can't see where you are going to make money to trade and then upgrade |

| Darren, MY impression of your team is spot on in some areas and way off in others. Birchall is Mr. Consistency and is in my team every year, he is someone you can build off - nice choice. However the goat is right on McPhee - firstly he is I believe the number 1 free kick against in the comp (-8 points per go). 2 of those and he kills you. You are probably a stud short in the backline as well.... you need a bowden, cornes or even Mcleod in there. McClean will get a lot more attention this year now that Johnstone has gone and I am against having midfielders or forwards from the worst team in the comp. Gardiner is a terrible decision to up forward, there are much better. Think about downgrading Kruezer and upgrading someone else, maybe McPhee or Lucas. Credit where credit is due - you have spent your money in the right areas. |

| The Goat is spot on BomberBoy you don't have the team you need to win fantasy footy. Check out our article about the strategy of how to build a team, it will be a good help to you. 2 studs per position (1 in ruck) is where you should start. Think the high 500,000s for these guys and then find the bargain boys after that (Ellis, Muston and Stevens are a good start). Scrap Lade and get on cox, he should be your first pick and be wary of guys who had superb seasons last year (Brennan, Priddis). Walker has a dodgy shoulder 2. As a bombers fan I don't reckon you should go past Dyson or Watson in the mids |

| What better way to spend a Sunday night than talking footy! This is my idea of a Beautiful Sunday channel 7. Really appreciate all the posts guys it's great to get some traffic on here<br>Doogie I love this team for a few reasons. You are one of the few to have King Brown(am i crazy this guy is cheaper than Reiwoldt and Pav and is better than both!) I love Headland and I love Dyson and Houli. A couple of suggestions, monitor Gilmore, Prismall and Jetta. I don't think they r garunteed a spot first up. Do u really want to start the year worrying about guys getting a game? |

| Grovesy, welcome aboard. I can't comment on DT prices but will give my opinion on your players. You are right about having some serious rookies in your starting lineup. Hansen, Myers, Henderson would make great reserves not starters. N.Thompson is someone i would not look at until round 5 also. I think you have to much mone in your midfield. The only way that is going to pay off is if you get lucky with the rookies. Answer this for me, which is going to get your more points. A Myers\Ablett combo or say Nicoski\Cross combo? <br>Finally, i said this earlier but why has no-one got Leigh Harding? 13 touches in a weather affected game first up and named in the best in their NAB Challenge game. Playing half back guys! |

| Maso<br>Scarlett I think is a bit of an injury concern in the first few weeks but is a nice pick however I have to question why you have both Hartlett and Myers on your starting backline. Quality backs are the hardest to find so I would spend a little more on your midrange players down there allowing you to upgrade later. Myers barely gets a game now so won't get much of a run during the season. Midfiled is not bad, perhaps a little price.... find money here for your backs. Firmly believe that it is easy to find high earning mids during the year not so forward and back. I like how you have gone the Kozi option in the ruck as opposed to cox (giving you money to spend) but what have you done, spent it in the rucks. Get off Gardi, get off the cruize and pick up luenberger and a hack. You ONLY EVER need I backup on the rucks. Forward line is great as well except buddy us a terrible vice captain. Cornes, West, king Brown and Dalla are the only ones to consider. All i can say is - Upgrade your hacks! |

| Willow<br>I think you have picked a pretty good team here mate. You have got a nice mix if you ask me. You have a few smokies in the like Salopek and Porplyzia who should give you some value, so to hawkins and Thomas (I am hoping he takes the next step). You maybe have a little to much money in your forward line but its all round pretty good. I wouldn't stick with kreuzer for to long as he will probably maximise out after a few rounds, I have been thinking Leunberger is a far better option, he is the number two option at brissy and a year along in development. I think one weakness you have is having Houli in your starting lineup. He is cheap sure but will need to be watched to see if he is getting regular game time - he didn't play that much last year.. all in all I like your style, a well paced out team with money evenly spread. I would look at Andrew Embley as he is only 411000 and salopek is 486000. That is 75,000 that could be spent elsewhere, namely houli. Armfield, not so sure - Lauchie hansen is a steal in the backline at over 104,000. I have him on my bench but he moght be worth getting.<br>You win for my favourite team so far |

| Tipmeister,<br>I don't blame you for being unsure about that gang, however you have a pretty good group of core players there. McEntee is a waste, he is pretty much a reserve at box hill chief so get off him and try someone else. You will seriously need to upgrade that forward line during the year with Jetta, Thomas and reid in there and it could be a fairly arduous task. My advice would be to get off Bartell - he has to average something like 111 tokeep his score that high and I just don't think he can do it - why don't you trade down a little and get someone who has a bit more flexibility - when he has a bad game he will drop a packet. If he has a storming first three weeks then get on him. i just don't see him getting any better. Brent Reilly has a massive possies per minute figure, I would take him over Pendles (I like Pendles big time he is just pricey after a great year) and he is a hundred grand cheaper. Spend that on your forward line. You have lots of money makers there. Have heard Masten has a touch of OP. Oh and is that Tom Williams of the doggies on your bench - he is like 250,000 or something - get a rookie if it is |

| Parksy u didn't make it easy to follow your team with players mixed up in positions. I love your choice of Duffield, i almost got him myself. Ok i'm going to cut straight to what i don't like about your team. Most supercoaches know you always are wanting to make money. Unless we are talking about your top 5 priced players, u want the rest to improve from last year. Slattery, Polak, Edwards, enright, ablett all hd best years. How much better are they going to get? You must feel they have have room to grow. It's a long long bench u have there mate with Edwards, Bevan, Duffield(as much as i love him), Judd, Jetta, Playfair and the rest not garunteed to play round 1 |

| Ferrier I hope that number 18 is for Rowan Jones and not Wayne Carey! R.Jones was the true King. Now your team. I think your team is going to need further review come team selection night. U have a couple of rookies in your starting lineup which could pay off massivly. But u need to be sure they are playing. This season Round 1 is over the easter break so games on Thursday, most teams not named. Going to be tougher. I like Rhyce Shaw. leading posession getter for Collingwood in NAB cup game. The only thing i would recommend is there r a lot of guys near rookie value this year that will be good. Hansen, McNamara, Jetta and Harding to name a couple. try and get a couple of them in and you'll be at the top of your league |

| wow this is a really good team. I think every guy u have chosen could make money for u. I do think u will be a slow starter though. Why? because you dont have the stars many teams do. But u have been smart and have 2 cash cows on your bench in EVERY position. If you can get a couple of wins early and then sit on these guys with trades in hand the second half of the year so u can trade up to some more stars, then i think even Geelong would fear facing your team in the finals |

| Doogie<br>You are all over it mate. I am amazed at how many guys are picking mattner up - I haven't got jim in my side and mabe I am missing out there (I have gone with newman as my 3rd back). I think you pretty much have your team down to a T apart from the fact that yuou have got Gilmore in your ruck. He wasn't bad last year but he is not going to get you a hundred points a game. I myself would be looking at King or Sandi if you are going to stay away from a top dollar ruckman (Which I think you need). Dyson is to me the bartgain of the comp and one that everyone will wish they had in there teams so nice pick up on him. Reimers has looked good in the NAB Cup so might also be handy. I like your style - if I had to criticise to much money on the bench but that is clutching at straws.<br> |

| Adam, I agree with alot of what you say, after all - all we can give you is opinon. I am against having 2 blokes from the same team in one position - if they have a bad game they can hurt you. I go max 3 in the whole team! I had goddard last year and he was solid till the injury and I think is a valid pick however i would find someone a little stronger than fisher. The way thios game plays you get alot of points in your backline for contested marks so look for someone who does that. brian Lake was great at it last year. McMahon - the goat likes him i reckon he is a dodgy pick - expect some shockers from him. He has looked dicey in the NAB game that i saw. I'm in love lovett Murray this year. Your midfiled with rielly and fletcher is beautiful as well. Perfect team mate. Love it. Top 2 finisher<br><br> |

| Craws. My theory is to have 2 studs in each position miminum! When you go to improving your side during the year you can build around them. Your backline is far to weak to do that, the way i see it is that you only have 1 top quality player in there and that is Kennelly who is a risk as it is. Backs are pricey and hard to find. Its a pretty uninspiriing team to be honest - find your smokies, find your bargains. You have to many guys in your team that will give you nothing but what they gave you last year. Bradshaw is a terrible pick as well - drop one of the guys up forward and spend half the money on him, so to the midfield(maybe gibbs - find this years gibbs!) and spend that on the backline. |

| JB- To many talls for my liking. Unless a tall is a goal kicker or a great contested or opposition kick marker(eg. Lake) they are not as valuable as mids. this is why traditionally my forward line has had more B.Johnsons, Abletts and Bruce's than Gehrigs and Fevs. I would get rid of Mcguire, Kruezer, Hawkins(will be inconsistent) and Reid. I love your choice of Bird, rave reviews from the Swans, hayden and Bock. All good ball users. Tredrea to has potential to recapture old form. Hope this helps |

| Alan<br>My first guess is that you are from W.A. - am I right? You should dominate in the rucks having both Coxie and Lozie. You won't loose a game there all year but the rest of your team suffers a little from it. Still - you can spend the money you have in any position and if you want to consolidate the rucks then spend it there. You probably won't need to touch it all year so you can work on the rest of your team. Can you get Kirk in your team instead of Scotland - he's a better captain option. As I have said in the past is that McClean is going to get much more heat and is in the worst team in the comp - I like fletcher more but its a bit of give and take really. I am not us up on the Freo boys as I would like - if that is there Dunn - will he play? There is Armitage, Houli or even a risky Cale Morton if not. McGregor and Jetta on your forward line will either be a massive win for you or hurt you - you have taken a punt in getting Kozie but if it works out you are a a genius. |

Way I see it is that someone has to step up in that team to fill the lose of Judd and Cuz and all eyes are on Butler etc - why not someone who already gets a few minutes? Pick 13 in the 2005 draft so they are gonna wanna use him at some point. Daniel Bradshaw yes he will play but steer clear. Stay away from knee injuries. Josh Francou!!!!! Bradley - no, Rutten - everyone will have, Ricky Petterd - worth a punt, Jason Saddington - no way!. You have gone for the mexican as well - Firrito - thats probably a bad move, I would go roughead or rutten over him at that price. He's a stopper. You could maybe spend a little less in your midfield - I spend most of mine on the backs and forwards. Don't forget Cotchin is out for atleast 3 so won't make you money till round 6. Russell Robertson is a dud - his mind is on 'It takes two' this year! 489000 on an aging forward in a bad team. if Neitz wasn't there its a maybe but its a no now. headland is a steal at 424000 this year.<br><br> |

| Teamwalk<br>Its a fine team mate, no major issues there. You do have 2 mids coming off an injury and Judd who is also questionable for the year but apart from that its fine. Waters is a good pick but am against Jordie - he could pay off though. Thompson and Headland are great picks. James Sellar is a better pick thatn Tippet - hes really a ruckman and won't get heaps of game time. You have a good rounded team. |

Simon Wiggins is a player to keep an eye on with Judd there - I believe the goat is putting in an article tonight about his Judd theory. Have a read. Geelong players are pricey and you have 2 of the priciest in your midfield - do you think they will improve - will bet you a tin of wiskas they won't. Scottie West is a magnet and was a bit off last year - no one will have him as well. He's a good captain too. Dyson is a bargain at 200,000 - he will give you good uptrade options. Welsh.... Hmmm |

| Hawks Fan #26 - or should we say Team Gamble!<br>You have one of 2 things there - a money maker or a money loser. Its not always a bad thing having a risky team but you are at 30 to 1 odds here. Guerra, Brennan, Pettard, Wiggins, R Shaw(the wrong brutha brutha!), Clarke, Griffen, davey, McGregor and Miller are all risks. There are not a lot of sure bets in your team and you proably want to get a few more. There are really only 3 studs in that team that you would captain. Spend more on the big names and less on the no names. Thank you - come again! |

| Hoppy i appreciate you calling me out over the White Maggot. U made the right move! Ok let me start from the top and see where u can slash some money because that's not enough left to get 2 forwards! Winderlich has a back injury, get off him(Maybe Tambling. It's his year) and get off Mclean. To much for someone so injury prone and not a great user of the ball. I'm thinking Dyson or J.Nash for your team. Trade Gardiner for Cartledge and save yourself another 80k. By doing those moves mate should allow you enough for a couple of forwards. Look at McGregror, Gardiner or M.Morton |

| Jono, same name as my boss. I'm in trouble if this is you! This side is eerily similar to mine actually. I share your concerns with Ellis. i know he is going to get better but there r so many ball magnets in that side not everyone is going to dominate. I feel he could get left out. Better options out there. <br>Midfield will definetely be strong enough to start the season. Dyson and Mcnamara will both get games. If anything u have to much money on the bench. I envisage u making money on 4 of those, trading them for 2 rookies after round 8 or 9 and then with the price rise cog, houli or selwood have made you can upgrade to an elite midfielder. | Dano. It's nice to have something fresh come through here. This side is completely different than most so if u have a good week u r garunteed a win! I have to say i would compare your side to Fergie's head. Not a compliment. Only rookie i kind of like is Moss. Scarlett, Glass, Egan aren;t going to get u many hundreds. Great real like players though. You are going to get slaughtered in the rucks. Basically dano u have not gone for any guys who are cheap after poor seasons or injuries. I would start again and read our strategy article. Build your team around the good pickups |

| Jay baby. Not a bad effort for a second yearer. I trust u learnt some hard lessons last year and already feeling a lot more confident? We've all been there. I'm big on 2 things with my players. Solid pre-seasons and being on the park as much as possible. Kerr - major hammy. Ball - hasn't been fit for 3 years. Bradshaw- big man coming off knee(check Darcys stats last year). Bradley - can't play football. To many risks in this side. Much better midfield options out there. Also Sam Fisher i don't like. With Goddard coming back i can't see him being used as the playmaker so much. He took a lot of marks last year, that will decrease. Your close Jay. Keep playing with your side, there is still plenty of time! |
